Jerry rice was insanely good. Watched him play as a kid. However, I never came away wow'd like I did watching randy moss. Jerry is the GOAT. Moss was more explosive, and his best is the best I've ever seen. Rice's highlight tape is boring compared to moss'

That guy Brady had his best season ever and despite the Super Bowls, that was the first time anyone considered him Manning's equal.

You are a tard.

Grew up on sportscenter highlights is more like it. Say hello to the modern day sports fan. Sportscenter cred is fluff. Blake Griffin is always on sportscenter and has a better "highlight" real than KD. Who is better?

This dude here!? a friggin highligh tape?....good GOD man

Ok BUT Rice would go over the middle and do outs with ease. Randy is kinda like Eric Dickerson. Very exciting but would nOT do the tough stuff needed to be THAT GREAT. I will call Moss flashy and a deep threat at best.you want exciting??? Watch the last drive from the 2nd SB between the Niners and Bengals.

I'm not at a computer but I'd love to see the YAC comparison if one exists.

Thats a decent comparison.

Note: Randy's YAC would still be outside the hashes which isnt as impressive as a 5 yd slant into a 70 yd TD.

Actually I'm old enough to have seen both play in person at their best. I'm not sure how it is possible for anyone to deny moss was a much more explosive player. He was twice the athlete jerry rice was and I'm not denying JR is the GOAT.

To be honest ... HE wasn't. He was a DEEP threat and YES he could be exciting on certain plays. But ANY player that would WALK off the field before the game was over and QUIT on plays cause HE WASN'T getting the ball is NOT even close to being in the same sentence as JERRY RICE. I don't care how talented YOU think he was.

I'm just pissed Moss had to open his fat mouth this week. The Niners have been very business like and quiet and the Ravens have been the Ray show. I wanted to keep it that way and this idiot has to make a comment he could've made any other week.

No one is paying that much attention. Niners roll again.

None of that has anything with randy moss' athletic ability and if you think moss racked up those kind of numbers as nothing more than a deep threat, then you're only supporting my argument.

Randy Moss is possibly the most gifted receiver ever but he's not better than Jerry Rice. Moss was dominant at the go route but didn't really do much of anything else great. He hated going over the middle and was never much of a blocker. Jerry Rice was a much better all around WR.

SURE. He was a freak of nature and I have said NOTHING to say different, But SHOW ME a play where MOSS went over the middle.

I think you're not understanding me. I think rice is the better of the 2. Duh. All I'm saying is that the way moss phrased it was in a way to say that he was a more dynamic player than rice and I happen to agree. Moss basically is saying there has never been a receiver better than he was at his peak. I agree, but I don't think that translates into GOAT status as moss does.

Maybe Moss can enter the discussion if he has 120+ yards and 3 TDs on Sunday

Until then
