Randy Moss said today he is the greatest all-time WR. To which @JerryRice just responded, "Put my numbers up against his numbers."

Very Nice Tweet

Well Randy had the talent to be the greatest of all time. Jerry had the drive to be the GOAT. Big difference.

You do realize no team wanted to sign Randy Moss last year, right?

Have you followed Randy's career since he left New England. He was waived by his original team and thrown away by the freaking Titans and couldn't even get on a roster last season.

I'd have to look at the #s closer but I think that's a reasonable argument.

Jerry Rice played about 3 or 4 years too many IMO

He compiled stats by staying in the league too long

Kobe Bryant will end up with better all around numbers than mj. Will that automatically make him better?

I love how these things have become these kind of generational battles.

There is nothing Moss brings to the table that Rice did not. Rice unlike Moss however, did not take plays off and was a great down field blocker.

If Moss didn't disappear completely during his stint with Oakland or during that clusterfrick where he got sent from New England to Minnesota and released, I'd agree with him.

Mentally checking out for years at a time is a big mark against him.
