Not games that are part of CFP or New Years day 6 ones or where a famous play happened or last game of great player/coach. Just a nondescript game with no rooting interest.
The ones I can recall,
Colorado vs Alabama Blockbuster Bowl, Colorado had switched out of the I Bone to a Pro Style Offense. Early 90's.
K State vs Wyoming Copper Bowl, K State had Chad May and JJ Smith going wild.
KU vs Cal Aloha Bowl, KU actually finished in top 10 that year
Arkansas vs Florida Bluebonnet Bowl, It was the first time I remember seeing Florida play a whole game. Remember Wayne Peace being UF Quarterback.

The first ever bowl game I attended was an Ok State vs Southern Miss Houston Bowl because my dad had suite tickets through work.
It was awesome

I went to the Military Bowl in 2011. Stadium was a total shithole, it was freezing cold, but it was a damn good football game.
Air Force scored a TD in the final minute but instead of kicking the PAT to tie they went for it, didn't get it, and lost the game 42-41

2 stand out
1984 Orange bowl
Tom Osbourne going for 2 vs Miami, rather than kick extra point, and at worst tie for national title, if not win out right. And then having his Qb throw the ball, when Canes couldnt stop the run. ewf
Florida vs Notre dame 1992 Sugar Bowl
Florida was sticking it to Notre dame, then it became the Jerome Bettis show. He won the game, by himself.

LSU-Clemson Peach Bowl 1996. LSU won 10-7

I remember watching a Peach Bowl played in Fulton County Stadium on tv. I know it was Purdue with Jim Everett, but for the life of me, do not remember who they played anymore. Only reason I remember some of it is that Purdue wore all black and lost.

I have no idea why, but I distinctly remember the Colorado State-Fresno State New Mexico Bowl really well.
Posted on 8/21/15 at 2:02 pm to PAGator
Probably because it was the first game of bowl season and they had a RB go for about 250. I think it was first ever New Mexico Bowl game also.

I distinctly remember going to The Keg in Lafayette by myself, sat at the bar and pounded beers all night while watching the Kansas State-Ohio State Fiesta Bowl in 2004. K state had Ell Roberson and Darren Sproles. It was a great game. I had an awesome time too lol
