When I think of college football tradition, I think of the Quicklane Bowl. Turnout has to be abysmal as SE Michigan is in the middle of an 8 hour ice storm. Plus, I think the game is usually on the 26th and gets some decent post-Christmas draw, but the Lions game pushed it back or something.

Anyway, it's the rare maroon/gold v maroon/gold matchup.

These two teams are a joke

ETA: That's game. At this point, 1 point is way too much to expect out of this offense.

This frosh running back for CMU is solid. Nice TD run, with the the gang pile push.

Is this bowl previously known as the Motor City Bowl?

I think it's technically the second Quick Lane Bowl, but yeah, it's basically a Cherry Bowl/Little Caesar's/Motor City successor.

Leidner with the TD run. He showed good wheels at times this year. Sweet 2 pt conversion with the Leidner escape, then snag at the back of the end zone.

He was the first guy this year to really carve up Michigan and was a sign of what was to come in the IU and OSU games.

Strangely, it's Minnesota's first bowl win since 2004. They beat Alabama in the Music City Bowl 20-16. My, how times have changed.
