Habs 3
Pens 2 F

Mad Max 2 goals

Montreal is 4-0, with all being on the road. Have beaten Leafs, Bruins, Sens, Pens. Beat the Leafs, Bruins, and Pens in home openers for those teams.

Last 3 times Montreal has gone 4-0 they've won the Cup.

Larkin to Hank for 2-0. Engblom sounds like he has the plague.

And Edmonton still sucks. 1 goal in almost 8 periods of play.

McJesus's first goal comes against Kari, so it doesn't really count.

strong finish. was worried we'd hit 50 shots and lose

these are the kind of games at home we'd find a way to lose a point last year.

I know it's only the third game but the Kings just don't look right. They aren't traditionally a great regular season team, but this is terrible. They don't look remotely threatening, no idea where their goals are going to come from, they have 2 in 8 periods

Now 2 goals in 3 whole games, and averaging almost 20 penalty minutes a game. That's a system that Happy Gilmore would thrive in

Can't really say yet. I only watched the last two periods and OT/shootout against Vancouver. Statistically their offense is lacking, but I have confidence they'll find their form soon. The team I'm really impressed with a week in is San Jose, they look really sharp

The Kings have something going on internally that we must not know about because they just don't look right. That division is turned upside down but it'll settle out as I'm not buying San Jose and Arizona's hot starts
