I'm not sure. The Rangers scored 30 in 2007. Guess this is payback

The 30 game was against Baltimore. We've never clobbered the Yankees like this.

Ron and Coke Kitty ask if you miss them yet.

Nah, I'm at home. Turned the game off in the second inning when the Rangers blew a 5-0 lead to fall behind 6-5 with no outs. They ended up shitting themselves in the second inning to the tune of 11 runs. I guess now they're down by 10. Kinda hoping we tank out now.

From ESPN:
quote:

Chris Young smacked a grand slam to put the Yankees up 15-5 over the Rangers. New York has put up huge numbers in just three innings:

All 9 Yankees have scored a run
7 Yankees have recorded an RBI, while 4 have multiple RBIs
6 Yankees have a multi-hit game

They didn't even have the common decency to give him a reach around?

Yeah, I redact my statement about the Pirates having a worse one earlier this year

Well when a guy starts out with 42 pitches, 5 walks, and 5 runs allowed in the first inning you don't exactly think your team is blowing it. But that's the Rangers for the past 3 years. No lead is too safe. They're the safest bet to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

This is gonna be hard for y'all to believe, but not a single word of this is embellished.

In my first start in the NY Penn league I jokingly asked my buddy(right fielder) if he had my back or something like that. He said, "nope, I'm gonna drop a fly ball it there." I proceeded to walk the bases loaded on 12 pitches in the first inning. Cleanup hitter hit a little fly ball/liner straight at him, which he completely whiffed, clearing the bases

Got yanked right there. The fans were screaming "go back to Florida!!!"

Good thing you weren't playing the Rangers. They would have hit it into his glove for him.
