If the Patriots win this Sunday, they will have reached the Superbowl in 50% of all seasons where Brady starts.

Which is why I can't even understand how people in the Brady Manning debate even think there's a question.
Brady at his best is much better.
Brady at his best is much better.

Should the Pats win this weekend?

No question. Can this even remotely be debated? It's about wins and losses, not stats.
Now, Peyton's commercials, they're gold.

because Brady's success is actually BB's success. Manning's success is all him

how do people even consider this the most important aspect. NFL is the definition of a team sport. Alex Smith led the 49ers to a 13-3 season and #2 seed in '11, so he must have been better than brees, e. manning, ryan, and stafford.
uhh...no.

Comparing one season is a lot different than comparing an entire career...

Has nothing to do with Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Edgerrin James, Dwight Freeney, Robert Mathis, Demarius Thomas, Von Miller, and Champ Bailey? How many Hall of Famers (or potential Hall of Famers) has Manning played with?
You can spin these arguments either way. I tend to give a slight edge to Brady just because Manning's postseason exits have been largely inexcusable (what's his record, 8 one-and-done post seasons or something like that).
Regular season there is no doubt Manning is the GOAT.

I'm going to the game. Can't wait!
