Ole Miss fires an assistant coach as a fall guy and say Freeze did not know this was going on. Forfeit a few scholarships and act like this is a one time thing.

Ross Bjork wasn't mentioned in the text conversation. Bernie is a recruiter at Ole Miss and he was in the text message conversation. Maybe include a couple of other people you throw under the bus and lose a few scholarships. If ole miss is smart they get in front of this and try their best to not let this lead to Hugh Freeze or Ross Bjork.

The answer is: not even remotely as bad as what the NCAA did to USC even though this was, allegedly, money going to a player directly from the school/coaches.
The answer to what will happen to UNC is: not even remotely as bad as what the NCAA did to USC even though this was academic fraud/fake classes directly from the school.

Totally agree with you and I hate USC (admittedly because we both claim the 03 title) but I'd be pissed too

Nothing. If Emmert did this, then the coaches would question why nothing was looked into after the Bama/Fluker situation. Don't forget about Newton/AU too.
