Prayers ti Indy Car Driver Justin Wilson

Hit in head by debris from a wreck, went straight into the wall with no braking. Did not move at all in the car after crash. NBCSN did not ever go back to the extraction, ambulance or show his getting loaded into helicopter. You can see him get hit in Link below by the nose of the yellow car. I fear the worse for this one.

Yea it looked bad. He lost consciousness. All we can do is hope his helmet did its job. Prayers sent.

Damn.
Best case scenario is broken bones and TKO from the combo of debris hit and crash.
Worst I fear may be internal decapitation. Lost lots of drivers to that style injury.

That was my worry too, a F-1 Driver got killed in like 76 or so by a fire extinguisher in the head, could bot help but think of that. Weird to hope for a concussion.

Was watching it when it happened, awful. You could tell he was unconscious when he hit the wall. Praying for the best.

Yeah after seeing Andretti talk to RHR, I fear the worst, hope he pulls through and recovers.

A lot of wrecks it seemed. I think they said they only had 3 cautions at pocono last year.

Justin always seems like a very nice fellow in his interviews, and he is a talented driver.
I hope he makes it okay. The whole race was full of crazy crashes.

Agree this whole year has been full of crazy crashes, Indy needs to look at their setups for next year.

Definitely praying for Justin. Been too many unfortunate accidents during my lifetime of being an avid race car fan of all types. Certainly praying that Justin is okay.

Indy needs to ditch the vast majority of their oval races. the fans don't show up for them and it always seems it's where they have major injuries.
