Imagine how many years now Tech fan has been expecting that invite. They were too good for the Sunbelt, so they moved to the WAC where they've had to shell money out the arse just to pay travel expenses. The whole time, just waiting for that CUSA invite.

IMO, of all the smaller schools out there in the south, Tech would have the most potential to rapidly transform to the level of Moo State or better within three years if they were to be extended an invitation to the SEC. LSU is the only real competition, in-state, for top talent, and then it gets diluted between Tech and little Louisiana University schools.

LSU may not be as competitive/talent laden if Tech were in a BCS conference. Just sayin'..
