Chances to win game have to be less than 2%. Why not chuck it 3 times and hope for a P I penalty. If it doesn't happen oh well. To see the dink and dunk shite tonight just reaffirms my belief.

Joe Flacco is great at the "throw it up and get a PI call"

The deep ball underthrow is a dangerous weapon.

So you agree? I just can't stand when a team takes what they are given in an almost hopeless situation. Air it out and die fighting imo. Can stats prove me wrong? If so let's have some evidence

Aired it out is subjective. but they did a lot more offensively than the Giants did tonight

We actually committed to the run which is something I haven't seen in years. Even on the third down

You should definitely go for 2 if you score a TD.

Higher chance of winning assuming you get the necessary 2 TDs.

Assuming 50% conversion rate and 100% PAT rate.....

50% chance of making first conversion and then just kicking the PAT on the second to win.
25% chance of missing first 2PT and then getting second to send it to OT.
25% chance of missing both 2PTs and losing.

So a 50% chance of winning, 25% chance of losing, and 25% chance of OT vs a 100% chance of OT.

The success rate of 2 point conversions is based on it rarely being attempted or only attempted in certain situations. If teams start doing it a lot and their tendencies in that sitation are revealed, the current conversion rate will go down. I don't see how 2 point conversions apply to the OP though.

There was some numbers crunched on it, and he felt that he really had to get that hot take in there.

that is easy...you punt and get the other team to fumble on back to back possessions.
