Nope. The DH in MLB can only be for the starting pitcher, and there is no P/DH in MLB, if the pitcher was hitting for himself (which is fine) and they get pulled, the RP would go into that spot in the lineup.

You're definitely wrong about the pitcher not being the DH as long as he's pitching. I've watched plenty of two way players in college, they're always listed as the DH in the batting order and the box score. Even when they throw a complete game.

The DH is the dumbest rule in sports. It's even more absurd due to the fact that it's restricted to the pitcher.
