1) That makes me feel so incredibly poor
2) I would hate to be his tax accountant and have to file tax forms for all the states he plays in
3) That makes me feel so incredibly poor

Oh no he has to pay taxes in multiple states?! The horror. One year I had to file 12 state returns and puerto rico. Anyone who has worked for a national consulting firm has done the same.

I would love to be making millions playing basketball.

Must be a PITA for the team accountant or whoever to figure out all the state income taxes for each player

McCutchen's Gross Pay was $820,659.88 but he only received $427,098.49 because of all the taxes and fees that was deducted from his paycheck.

Seems like this should be classified info

ETA: mainly because his address is on there. I don't know about how public the other stuff is

Net direct deposit: $427,098.49? For two weeks of playing a kids game...man's living the dream. I can't make it out, but it looks like his gross pay before taxes is somewhere north of $820K...maybe $820,655.88?

I wonder if you still have to pay taxes if you don't play in the game?

If your a pitcher and it wasn't your spot in the rotation when your team traveled to Colorado, do still pay them taxes? Or if you were on the DL and never made the trip, do you have to pay taxes to a state you never went to?
