PGA Tour moving WGC event from Doral to Mexico City

i'm guessing they couldn't find a sponsor because of the course being attached to trump's name. everyone's gotta be pc nowadays.
it's a double frick you to trump by moving it to mexico
doral is an awesome course. would be silly to not have a tournament there on the tour.

Lawsuit for what? Cadillac does not have to sponsor his tournament, the PGA can deny whichever sponsorship they want.

the field might not be completely shitty, but there will undoubtedly be players who won't go play there.
plus, are they going to play it at a different time of the year? as of now, that event is sandwiched right in the middle of the florida swing. they might have to switch around the honda classic and the wgc event.
if they don't, they'll for sure lose out on some guys.

I think that maybe this is a problem with Cadillac and also that it is really convenient for the Tour to distance itself from Trump.
I don't understand why we have to distance ourselves so much from someone's politics. You don't have to agree with Trump, but do we really have to be so vitriolic? The answer is yes because this is politics, but still...it's childish.
