After having 4 major neck surgeries, Peyton Manning took his brand new team to the number one spot. Russell Wilson landed on a team that he had to beat Matt Flynn for the starting spot. He beat Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Jay Cutler, the 49ers, and ties the rookie record for most touchdowns. He has a better record than the Redskins and dominated the 49ers top ranked defense with 4 touchdowns. He beat 4 playoff teams to Griffin's 2.

I don't think anyone could really argue too much with those choices. There are other great candidates but if they won I don't think people would be like "those guys aren't deserving at all"

I think AP should win MVP though

lol @ peyton padding stats in the weakest division in the nfl, and they are still comparable, and even worse than some other qb's playing teams not picking in the top 11 of the draft

they should just do co-awards.

AD and Manning both deserving as hell.

As well as RG3 and Wilson.

Vikings were terrible last year, playoff team this year. Same for Colts and redskins. The guys you mentioned didn't improve their teams win total by much

AP should be MVP

And saying that Russell Wilson beat Aaron Rogers is like saying the French won WWII. I mean yea they were on the winning side but everyone knows they didn't deserve it

My one argument that Adrian Peterson should win it over Manning is that before Manning was there, they were division champs a season ago. So the talent was there. The Vikings were one of the worst teams in the league last year. Both have had impressive years. I think this is one of the closest ROY/MVP/COY races I've ever seen.

With Adrian Peterson as their starting running back.

I don't care about their injuries when it comes to who should be MVP.

Peterson's season is historical and he is the sole reason that team made a late run to the playoffs. He slightly edges out Manning.

The Broncos are a playoff team, look at their defense. It ranks among the best this season.

I am probably the biggest Peyton Manning fan you will ever meet and have been since he played at Tennessee. He is the perfect blend of natural ability, intelligence, work ethic, character, and humility. His singular devotion to his craft is awesome and I will be greatly saddened when he eventually retires (hopefully not for 5 more years).
