I mean this is like when LSU is playing furman...you is spose to beat em like dat

People don't realize that mediocre teams in the NFL are usually just a few plays away from being 10-13 win teams. Every team in the NFL is good. Every win is impressive...every 49-17 win is superb

for carolina, making the playoffs is the biggest thing. If I'm sitting there as a panthers fan, I don't give a shite about division, etc... I just want to get in.

Carolina has the league's best defense and they have a good ground game. That will beat teams like San Fran and Seattle on the road. I think New Orleans and green bay (who will not make the playoffs) would be really bad matchups for them because Carolina has not shown they can stop an elite quarterback...not that I doubt their ability to do that, they have in the past, but every year is a new team.

we'll see. They are very interesting. I think they end up with the top wild card spot after an 11-5 campaign

Can someone explain how Ingram looked good? I understand that I could rush for 100 against Dallas, but he actually looked good. Against the dallas third string D. It's not the first shitty team he's played against, though. Hell, it may not even be the shittiest. Maybe it's just wishful thinking, but it definitely looked like something clicked for him last night.

Saints fans LOVE Pierre and HATE Ingram

Pierre didn't get 100. And he had more carries.

I love Pierre and think he's a top 5 screen pass RB in the NFL. But Ingram deserves some damn credit here. He gets 100 and everybody screams "Mack truck holes" but three guys meet him in the backfield on 3rd and one and "he can't hit the holes."

that's true, not yet. I think the NE game this Monday will be a decent indicator of their abilities to stop a good QB even though the Patriot's offense is not what it usually is.

pt has proven he can run the rock and has been very efficient doing it for the most part. ingram has been pretty pathetic for a few seasons now.

10 points will not get it done against

the saints or the packers. Looking at the rest of the NFC and how good carolina's d is, 10 points might get it done against any other NFC team

I wouldn't be penciling in carolina to overtake the Saints in a few weeks. I wouldn't pencil in anything for anyone. Let's see how this plays out, but it plays out with both teams in the playoffs regardless.

oh, i'm not. I just like to see the saints fans get riled up.

I know damn well this team could easily collapse and not even make the playoffs, too many years of watching this team will temper your expectations. It's just fun to be able to actually have a chance to talk shite this late in the season again, though

They are different backs. PT will get 4-5 yards per carry but like 75 percent of his carries are between 3-7 yards.

Ingram is a back that will have 80 yards on 20 carries and 70 of those yards came on 5 runs. That's why most people (myself included) like PT better. You get sick of waiting for Ingram to get those runs.

Saints were saying the same thing for 20 years, you're in good company with them!

Also, grats to the Panthers this year.. they have really impressed me.
