If a Penn State football coach asked you if you wanted a "tip"...would you say yes?

I wouldn't.

Bad on Penn State, but jerks who call out famous people for not tipping are the worst.

Waitresses deserve nice tips - especially Diner waitresses.

But there are some tipping etiquettes that are stupid as hell.

Tipping your barber and cab driver is dumb as hell. If the barber/hairdresser wants more, charge more.

And why the hell is everyone tipping cab drivers? The fare is outrageous enough. What did he do? He did his job and drove a car (usually the long way) to your destination.

I think tipping drivers is common courtesy though. Whenever we have food delivered we pay a tip as a corporation. Otherwise, walk/drive your arse to the store.

Ya but that's why they charge a delivery fee, that's what I pay for the convenience. I'll tip a delivery guy if it's reasonably quick and he took care of the food and he isn't an a-hole, but I'm not giving the guy a tip solely because it was convenient for me

ETA sorry for offending all the pizza boys in here

Most delivery drivers make about 2 bucks an hour on delivery. Their tips are how they make money.

Still shouldn't have called them out on it though.

I am sure the convenience fee wasn't adequate in this case.
