Penn State 5-1 at Ohio State 6-0 next week

Penn State has looked extremely extremely impressive their last 5 games, winning all 5 in a row. Starting to look like a playoff contender. They should be ranked, but aren't. But that should change if the voters have a brain.

Hard to overcome a 27-10 loss to TEMPLE in perception, even though Temple is a really good team.

I don't care who you are having a 5-1 record in the Big 10 is impressive.
13 point win over an underrated Buffalo team
16 point win over a good San Diego State team that could win the MWC West division
6 point win over a scrappy, salty Army team
25 point win over a Rutgers team that has a lot of talent
19 point win today over an Indiana team that gave Ohio State all it could handle

Oh a HUGE GAME. Penn St only lost to Temple. Very respectable. Another tough opponent on the uphill climb that is the Buckeye schedule.

If you have actually watched our (PSU) games, you would know that our offense has been atrocious. We are very far from a playoff contender.

Plus all 5 of Penn State's wins are at home, its hard to win 5 in a row at home, especially against the quality of teams they have faced.

Buffalo is 2-3
SDSU is 2-3
Army is 1-5
Rutgers is 2-2 (likely 2-3 after tonight)
You can put use all the adjectives in the world to describe these teams, doesn't necessarily make them good.

IU lost their superbowl last week and didn't even get off the bus for today's game.

I live in B1G country and have seen more PSU games than I care to admit. They don't look elite to me. Fine with them being ranked, but certainly shouldn't be considered a playoff team today.
