LINK Powerful article from Mike Wise. Should be required reading for any Penn State fan.

Actually JoePa decided his own legacy and he made the wrong decision.

I often wonder if JoePed was diddling kids himself. He seemed awfully understanding about Sandusky.

Very powerful, thank you. I've been callous in my postings before, looking to defend instead of understanding. I will try to be better in the future.

Is it a vote by the survivors, what if a few feel joe pa made mistakes but his overall legacy deserves recognition? I hate the irrational points made regarding a man who failed but also succeeded, by reporters who have no skin in the game.. Ultimately a mans legacy isn't decided by any one group collectively and can be many different things to different people.

I can't speak for everyone, but as for myself, I'm perfectly willing to disassociate JoePa and Sandusky from PSU IF PSU is willing to do the same. Until that time comes, the football program, fans, and administration deserve every ounce of criticism they receive.

Does anyone know when the AD, President, and VP that Paterno reported it to go to trial?

What to me is crazy that after taking a one year paid sabbatical, Spanier is currently president emeritus, university professor, and professor of human development and family studies; sociology, demography, and family; and community medicine. The former President was indictment in 2014 for grand jury perjury, obstruction of justice, child endangerment, failure to report child abuse and conspiracy in connection with the scandal.

And still works for the university.
