Would you be in favor of contracts being able to be voided if the players tests positive and upon appeal is confirmed that it wasn't a false positive.
I feel like this would instantly curb PED use in MLB

You get into their wallets and they'll get the message.
$50,000 fine to a guy making multimillion dollars per year is nothing.

Yes
I dont get the crowd who thinks PEDs should be allowed. That is a slippery slope thats best avoided.
If PEDs are allowed in MLB, how low of a level do boys start to juice? You'd have ego driven parents who live through their sons starting to juice up their kids at 12 years old. Now I know that is hyperbole, and theoretically you would just ban PEDs at lower levels, but where does it end? PEDs are legal in MLB - are they legal in the minors too?
Basically if PEDs were legal, you would HAVE to juice in order to make it to the majors. Men who are concerned about the health risks of PEDs would be shite out of luck. Basically risk your health to make it to the majors.
Like in the movie Incredibles, when everyone is juicing, no one is.

I do think penalties should be harsher and a 2nd violation would lead to a voided contract.
1st time a year ban, second time a 2 year ban and voided contract, 3rd lifetime suspension.

have to do more than just void the deal
Void +years suspended.
If not, just a voided contract could allow guys to switch teams, by just taking a medicine product that has a banned substance in it.

what if the player has a bad contract? Can he take PEDs, get his deal voided and sign with the Yankees?

yeah, u have to be swift with years of suspension.
if not, guys could just take a cold medicine(example), that has banned shite it in it, and become top free agent in market.
Void + minimum 3 years would definitely be harsh punishment, and would be a deterrent.

I think it's right where it needs to be.
1st offense = half season + postseason ban
2nd offense = full season
3rd offense = lifetime ban
Players aren't getting paid while suspended. If a player is set to make $10 million a year and gets a half season suspension, they are losing $5 million that season.

Id be in favor of no more PED testing but mandatory checkups from a doctor to make sure you are healthy in whatever you are doing. If you do something he/she didn't approve you could fade suspension.
