Gents,

My local book recently decided to legitimize himself and unfortunately I have been unable to find another option

This being said, how hard is it to get paid out on Bovada? I've never had to bet with an online site before. Also, do you have to use something ghetto like Western Union to deposit? It says it takes MC and Visa but I didn't know if these got blocked

TIA

i couldnt get any off my visa,mc to work.

But i could get my amex to work on betonline, with zero issues.

what ever u do, dont take check option for pay. seems like some of these sites go through Canadian banks, so ur bank will have to get it cleared through federal reserve, because of routing numbers being different. 2 month wait for it to clear.

Going through it now.

Have cashed out a number of times on Bovada. Super easy. They send mine via DHL courier from Canada.

They tied up my winnings for 2-3 months and haven't used them since. This was awhile back though so maybe they've improved.

I think there were only a few of us left betting with him from college and he had started taking time off between the Super Bowl and March Madness. I also am pretty sure he might have gotten married. I dunno but I got a shifty answer on whether he would be back open for March Madness and I wanted to gamble on regular season CBB anyways

What does this mean? It looked easy to use going through it. The Federal Reserve thing sketches me out

Richard Cranium,

If a book goes through Canadian Banks, and they have an 8 digit routing number on the check,(USA uses 9 numbers), the check has to go through the Fed, via ur bank.

This was covered already in another thread, where others had to do the same thing because of 8digit routing number from CaBank.

They will FedEx or DHL the check to you and it will arrive within a week. Then you will have to take it to your bank or deposit it through ATM. The online deposit via smartphone probably won't work. Your bank will send it to collections. From what I've heard, the bank may or may not charge a fee for this service. The entire process took me about 2 weeks for the funds to become available. No fees or anything.

I don't care what you are saying or what was said in another thread. I've done it 5-6 times. I have never had it take more than about 3-4 days for the funds to become fully available in my bank. So you're talking completely out of your arse except for the routing number being different.

ETA: and I've talked to my bank at length about these checks from Canada (or any foreign bank). They do NOT take 2 months.

it's all personal preference. I started on Bovada and still use it. never had an issue with a payout. usually the whole process takes less than 7 days which is nice

I cashed out of Bovada because I was starting to use my sports betting money on dumb crap like their online casino. Instant gambling anywhere anytime is highly addictive. $1 Craps is fun, until you realize that you're trusting an algorithm with no legal payout guarantee.

But the point of all this is that from cashing out to the funds in my account took, about 10 days. 5 to get the check (Canadian) 5 to receive the funds.

Currently in the process of cashing out which has been going on since after the Lsu/Texas AnM game (easy money when big brother plays little brother). I recently deposited the check at my bank two weeks ago. The funds appeared in my account after the normal 1-2 day clear period. Seemed easy enough...

I go on my account yesterday and notice that the funds have been withdrawn from my account and a service fee of $12.50 has been charged for a returned check. I call my bank and they tell me that the bank account that was listed on the check is from a frozen account. The bank on the check is from a Canadian bank. I called Bovada back and they said they have never had this problem (hard to believe), but that I need to provide them a copy of the returned check before they will proceed with issuing another and finding a different way to pay me.

Going on three months now.

Damn...

I've cashed out from Bovada about 3 times. It's been awhile though. I've had no problems. Got the check. Deposited it and funds are in there within 5 days or so.

Yeah I deposited last night. Every online review I read said it was the easiest site to get your money out of. I don't mind it taking 7 days or even a couple weeks, but 2-3 months would get quite aggravating.
