Finally, a new piece of news on here instead of the Madden story and the Gricar case being posted over and over again.

There has to be legal reasoning that is preventing it at this point. No way they continue on.

At this point, if the PSU BoT "requests" you jump, the only answer had by god better be "how high?"

guess they figured Paterno wouldn't sue them, but the others might?

Each employment situation is different. Others may have better cases for a lawsuit depending on their contracts, positions and involvement.

I'm sure the Board of Trustees wanted to fire McQueary last night. His testimony is far too important to the perjury investigations of Curley and Schultz right now, though. I imagine that there are other potential revelations he could offer, if he is sincere about being open and honest about this whole mess.

Regardless, the university and investigators have to keep him close.

Person A sees a crime, tells his superior Person B. Person B tells this superior Person C. Person A & C then meet to discuss the incident. Nothing is done.

Person A keeps his job, Person B is fired, Person C is placed a paid administrative leave so he can focuses on his defense (which the university has agreed to pay)
