Amazing. Wish more people had the courage and conviction of Pat

How is that even funny?

This whole deal just bothers me. Dude leaves the NFL to fight in the war, is killed by friendly fire, and then the whole thing is covered up and portrayed to be something it's not.
Sad, weird deal all the way around.

What does that have to do with anything?
You think every player on that team doesn't know who he is?
Schools have statues, pictures, and names of past players up all around their stadiums - how is this any different from those? It's a way to honor someone who was a great player at the school, as well as someone who gave their life for this country.
But you cool guys just keep being cool...

Sadly I really think there were some who didn't until they were told. It's kind of scary the lack of any historical knowledge some kids have.

See, I'm okay with that. I know that 90% of those kids maybe didn't know who he was until he got there, but they certainly know who he is now.
I mean, shite... I guess we should change the name of Alex Box because none of the current players played with him. Oh, and change the name of the Maravich Center, as well.
Idiots.

That's freakin' badass! He was one of my favorite players growing up. Both on ASU and the Cards.
