Pat Robertson can go fornicate himself with an iron stick.

I think the thread title is a little deceiving.

He said it would serve the Broncos right to be in a situation where they don't have a starting quarterback to play.
He didn't suggest that he wants/hopes/thinks Peyton to get hurt.

He's not saying Peyton should get hurt, only that if it happens (and with his neck problems that is very likely) Denver deserves it for dumping Tebow.
Still very stupid. I'm convinced Robertson has some form of dementia, his pronouncements are getting weirder all the time.

He also mentioned Peyton's neck injuries, and implied, that if his neck injury were to return, it would serve the Bronco's right.
While I think the yahoo story's headline is a stretch, I do think Robertson implied that he wishes the situation does occur by saying "it would serve them right."

Chris Chase is a fricking hack and 90% of the things he writes about on Yahoo is pure shite. Misleading headlines every damn time I open his links.

Yeah, I think he'll get hurt , too. I've had c5-6, and c6-7 fusion, and there is no cusion when you fall. He'll be fine just throwing, but I worry about his lateral vision, and any contact. I'm not just speculating here.

And he wonders why some non Christians despise his religeon. Practice what you preach Pat!

Not really. Why mention his neck injuries at all or say it would "serve them right" if he were to get hurt again? Obviously this has to do with the way the Broncos handled Tebow and Robertson, at the very least, would not be upset if Manning gets hurt and the Broncos get screwed.

Because it's stupid for a team to dump their only backup QB when their primary QB is coming off a serious neck injury?
It takes a special kind of journalism to get on the wrong side of a statement made by Pat Robertson.

Just spreading some of that peace and charity, turning the other cheek.
I can see where his words could be viewed at both angles though. He makes a valid point, but could have left off "serves them right".

Stretch, but you probably hate Pat Robertson.

I barely know who he is.

I dislike all these crazy religious nut and clicked on the yahoo link when I first came on this morning. I was gonna blast Roberts like I do when see him spewing his hypocritical hate, but as I read the article I was disappointed, because in no way or form, did I read he wanted manning to get hurt. According to the article he said the broncos deserve what they get IF manning gets hurt. Now why he said this and mentioned Manning's neck injury I'm guessing cuz alot of his "flock", don't follow football and don't know who manning is, so he was just educating them. Like I said I was disappointed cuz i couldn't blast him but since I'm always ready to blast him, I felt like this time I had to take up for the ignorant retch.

Not that I'm a Robertson fan, but what do you think that term even means?

I think he was just suggesting that it is fairly likely that Peyton could re injure his neck this season (something I think we would all agree on) and if this were to happen the Broncos wouldn't have anyone to look to but themselves.
