whatever team with a winning record in the AFC North that get's left out of the AFC playoffs should automatically take our spot in the NFC South in the playoffs

I actually kind of feel bad for Browns' fans this year. They're finally good this year but the rest of their division is just a little bit better.

I'm going to laugh pretty hard if this division winner wins at home in the wildcard round.

sincerely.

everyone sucks, its a shame one of these teams are going to get a home game.

Hate that rule.

In general I like divisions and rewarding a division winner. However NFL divisions are too small and there is too great a likelihood of an entire division just sucking (like the NFC South this year and the NFC West in 2010).

When you have divisions with 6-7 I think that risk is mitigated. Even 5 helps.

Fun Fact:

NFC South teams are a combined 1-10-1 on the weeks a team in the division is on a bye.

The one win was NO-CAR, so someone had to win.

This thread was made for the Falcons and Saints on their bye. Nobody wants to win
