Unlike the Big 12 Circle of Suck, there are actually 12 teams in the Pac, and the circle is complete:

Colorado > Washington State > Washington > Stanford > Oregon > Oregon State > Arizona State > Arizona > USC > Utah > California > UCLA > Colorado

Yes, 1-11 Colorado beat WSU who beat UW who beat Stanford who beat 11-1 Oregon, etc.

(Edit: Hmm, I guess I just learned that it's only the "Circle of Suck" when it's the ACC.)

And people made a big deal out of being able to do this in the ACC. Just shows there is parity in cfb

You can't do it in the SEC because the SEC's top 6 are 30-0 against the bottom 8.

Yes your bottom sucks that bad.

It is a down year for a few prominent teams in the SEC, but the conference as a whole is better than any other one.

The bottom feeders in the SEC still managed respectable non-conference wins....Mizzou over Arizona St, Vandy over Wake, Tennessee over NC State, Kentucky over Kent St

At the top the SEC is probably the best, but at the bottom it is absolute garbage. 2 teams going 0-8 and another at 1-7 with only a win over an 0-8. That's not just a "down" year.

And Tennessee still boat raced NC St, who beat Florida St.

Bama and LSU still are the top with Florida impressing me yesterday after their near flops against the sisters of the poor the weeks before. Again, FSU was probably over-rated but that was a quality showing.

I still don't buy Georgia with their schedule of playing the worst of the SEC + OOC cupcakes...we shall see if they get whipped by Bama.

But the bottom is bad. Bama might be the best...but don't kid yourself in thinking they played some gauntlet...they had two or three games to "gear up for" (Boise State code) all year.

You forgot to mention Arkansas-ULM, Kentucky-WKU. And then there was the "impressive" wins like Auburn-ULM, Florida-ULL, LSU-Towson, Tennessee-Troy.

Bama only played two challenging games all year; should have lost both.

Point: anyone believing they are some world beater is downright silly.

What do those have to do with a list of impressive non-conference wins? He didn't forget to list shite, he listed everything that was pertinent to the statement he made.

A growing pet peeve of mine is when someone says how would Team X (ND, Oregon, KSU etc) do against an SEC schedule? That depends on whose SEC schedule we are talking about. Agains Bama or UGA's, they would probably have no more than 1 loss just like Bama and UGA. Against USCe's or LSU's schedule, probably 2. The last 2 years LSU has beaten more teams that won 10 games than Bama has beaten with winning records.

You forgot to mention Kentucky's pecker-slapping of Kent St.
