Not sure....all I'm getting at is she will be as damaged as him by this being constantly rehashed. Especially as a soon to be teen.

I don't get the outcry over his profession. Would it be ok if he were a computer programmer? A stock analyst?

I don't see how her family thinks this is a good idea. I would kick my dad's arse if he let it get out i was abused as an infant.

You keep saying this like the victim's family brought this into the public eye. They didn't. The Oregonian published an article about his conviction after they discovered it while performing a background check. The victim's family commented for the article, but they weren't the ones who brought national attention to the matter.

They don't let people with convictions for sex offenses work in schools.

We understand that your family tree shows no progress from 15 yrs old to 21, but most do.

Why don't you give us a list of incidents that have happened in the last 5 yrs that show he is the same type of person making negative choices in his actions.

We'll wait

Maybe some people feel like what he's going through right now is a reasonable part of the debt he owes to society and the victim. Who said it needed to be an easier road? There is a punitive component of his sentence. It isn't 100% rehabilitative. A lot of people who have committed crimes would never repeat that behavior, but that does not alleviate them from future consequences of their past actions either nor should it.

FWIW if this was one state over he'd still be in jail.

bold strategy if that's what they're hoping for. This is something that will never blow over

I'm aware. This would have been the case in most states. It's pretty appalling the Washington justice system felt he was given an appropriate sentence.

The PAC 12 really has no control on this. They try to suspend him or ban him, they get sued and lose big.
Do they though? There are required events that we sign on for when I was an SEC athlete. There were certain things the school, and conference could make us do for charities/functions.

The PAC 12 could easily say these functions involve children, therefore Heimlich isnt allowed

You have been wrong on almost everything since this broke.

You said the team mates told him to "frick off" yet he is in dugout during the Supers

You said he broke the law by not registering, yet that was proven false.

Now you are saying they, the Pac 12 can tell him no because he followed the law?

But you were correct about the drafting part, I will give you credit for that.

I blame that on his teammates. I didnt think there was a group of 25 men in this country that would be cool with a 6 year old molesting monster

Honestly, it still shocks me his teammates are cool with him

I simply followed what was published. Hard to blame me for that, but go ahead

No you frick twat. The pac 10, sec, etc, can require student athletes to do functions for charities and other organizations. Which required us to be around children. We singed papers saying such.

I think they could argue they dont want to allow heimlich in the conference because clearly that is conflicting. I didnt say they would douche stain

No they really can not. You did not sign papers saying that. Your scholarship papers gave them the permission to use your likeness in advertising and permission to ask if you wanted to go do local things for that 1 academic year.

The fact the some people are trying to defend this POS is mind boggling. The sentiment that he's already received his punishment from the law is a joke. He repeatedly molested a little girl and received zero jail time.

You say that people will mature a lot from 15-21 and that may be true but at 15 my mistakes (and most everyone else's) were more along the line of drinking to much, getting into a few fights, and maybe shoplifting a candy bar from the gas station. What this kid did is unforgivable and you don't just grow out of being a monster.

You also can't just say that it was a mistake and he's served his punishment and is past it. Because Not all mistakes are equal. He didn't drunkenly bang some other 15 year old that accused him of rape the next day, he intentionally molested his 6 year old cousin over and over.

How would you feel if it was your daughter getting abused and then you turn on the TV to watch her abuser play college baseball as if nothing ever happened.

Also professional leagues suspend the shite out of athletes for smoking weed and taking aderall and other things that I would consider pretty minor offenses. There is no way that this kid deserves the chance to make millions as a pro ball player.

Shocked you didn't suggest he be a elementary school coach. How about this...he goes away overseas forever and leaves our kids alone.

It's very disappointing that attacks like these are allowed to be made and to stay online. Make your argument, but do so without the over-the-top insults. When you don't, you're lower than those you attack.

Elleshoe:
You're disgusting. I want to reiterate how moronic and disgusting you are.

You're a fricking idiot.
I'd like to emphasize that you're a fricking idiot.
