Oregon has arguably the finest football facilities in the country

to me, Ole Miss all of the sudden getting great players is 100X more eyebrow raising

i agree here.. oregon is a beautiful place, awesome booster, great facilities, huge fan support there... oregon can draw players.

and ole miss goes from winning 5-7 wins to having a top recruiting class...very odd.

Every college team is dirty...every one of them. It's just all about who gets caught and who cooperates.

Haven't you heard of their faith-based recruiting? God told them to go there.***

LSU is in the golden goose conference. Will never happen.

USC might lose some more scholarships though. Yeah, me mad.

It happens...I just know of people who have told me that even shitty schools like the University of Wyoming was paying off their players with boosters money/gift cards/spending money etc...and Wyoming is irrelevant in sports, except being the "Howdy frickin' Doody" school

Is this whole thing regarding Lache Seastrunk...the guy that never played in a game at Oregon and transferred to Baylor?

LOL at the Pac12 fans. Guess they need something to make themselves feel better about the SEC winning

Notice how all of their players from Texas "left" the program?

Anyways, I heard they were set to get hammered, but Chip Kelly leaving will lessen the blow a bit on the program in terms of penalties.

Lyles also has a close relationship to LaMichael James so theres that. However, the Lyles payoff seems to have happened after that with Complete Scouting Services. There might also be a connection with Anthony Wallace (out of Houston) who recently transferred due to being buried on the depth chart.

I think they avoided LOIC so I don't think they'll lose any bowl games.

The original article from the Oregon newspaper says that they did avoid LOIC. It does say that they will likely fit as repeat violators though. They had a major violation in 2004 and the time frame for these violations was 2008-2011 which fits within the 5 year "repeat violator" windows.

I wonder how the entire Miami situation will play out as well. I think it will have some ramifications for what happens to Oregon.

I hate to say it, but he's right. 3 BCS Titles in 4 years, doesn't make a fan base delusional.
