Indiana Turns Senior Night Into A Sideshow.
I know it was awful for Crean for a few years, but the dorky celebrations are becoming a bit too much with the Sweet 16 rings and now the net cutting after a loss.

I can't link it from my iPad but there was a tweet last night from a reporter that stated that the IU coaches and players still hadn't showed up for the post game presser at 1 AM but they deemed it important to cut down the nets immediately following a 9 point loss.

Crean may be the king of douche.

Yeah, that is what Forde fleshes out here. You wouldn't see Izzo pull this garbage (though MSU did embarrass itself a bit by having a banner in the rafters ready to unfurl, then taking the gaspipe against Wisconsin a few years ago).

"This is the epitome of bittersweet," coach Tom Crean said, when his press conference finally got underway at roughly 1:40 a.m. ET. "We're trying to celebrate what these guys have earned, and at the same time we didn't earn it tonight. …

"There was no question we were going to [cut down the nets].

This is the problem with doing senior night after the game. It's either a huge party, or an utter failure.
