Remarkable man. RIP. His death was a needless tragedy, however, and coverup was despicable.

Never noticed how much he favors a young Henry Rollins.

He was a true American hero. Very few of those today.

The documentary on his life/death was one of the most heart wrenching yet uplifting films I've ever seen. Cried my eyes out multiple times during my viewing. Increased my hatred of the military exponentially. He is the definition of a true American hero

Worst day of my life was when my friends started calling me to tell me Pat died.

There will never be another like him.

Really? What incentive did the United States Government have to murder an Army Ranger?

There's plenty of evidence that he had turned against the war, and was vocal about it to his fellow Soldiers. The theory is that once he returned to the states would have been a strong voice against it, so he was killed. That's a little too black helicopterish for me to take at face value, but the government's covering up the fact that he was killed by friendly fire adds fuel to conspiracists.
