Frank Gore - RB - 49ers Yahoo's Rand Getlin reports the Eagles have an offer on the table for free agent Frank Gore that includes $7 million in guarantees. Related: Eagles Source: Rand Getlin on Twitter Mar 8 - 3:41 PM Player Outlook Game Log Career Stats Draft Advice

The runningback market it so much better than it was last year. Did not think Gore could get that much in guarentees as old as he is

I wouldn't want my team paying him that. But the Eagles have money to blow

Heard him mentioned, as well as Mike Iupati, Chris Myers and Andre Johnson.

Needs: nose tackle (Terrence Knighton likely gone), offensive line help (Manny Ramirez sucks, Orlando Franklin gone), tight end (Julius Thomas gone, Jacob Tamme likely gone), middle linebacker (health is an issue), free safety (Rahim Moore gone).

Gore is so slow getting out of the gate these days. He still plays hard, but he'd get killed in that offense. Eagles should have pushed for Ingram IMO. If Gore costs more than $4m/year, the Eagles (Kelly) fricked that one up.

The reported offer for Gore is 5 million annually

Terrible move if true

if Gore goes for 5mil, can we assume Ingram turned down that offer to stay with the Saints?

Not sure why Rams haven't got in on Jeremy Maclin bidding. They desperately need a #1ish WR. And Maclin will do the dirty work also.

Or he misvalued the market before he hit free agency and hopped on the safe bet

I think Gore showed he still had something left in the tank when used properly... he averaged 4.3 yards a carry not far off from his 4.5 career average but the thing is I wouldn't want to give him more than a 2/3 year deal

Runningbacks fall off a cliff whenever they lose it.

Gore is what 31 years old? I wouldn't bet 5-10 million dollars that he won't lose it in the next 2 years

Wow. Hard to picture Gore playing in a different uniform.
