You're gambling on future events though. How can you know about future events? The past isn't a complete predictor of the future, if it were there'd be no point gambling.
The people working for sportsbooks know more about sports than you do (no offense, it's just their job) and they know way more about how to analyse statistical trends than you ever will, probably.
Just chill. The vast, vast majority of gamblers lose long term. It's just a fact.

Oregon 1H -21.5 WIN
La Tech -3 WIN
Nebraska -5 LOSS
Ok St -10 LOSS (bet this one 5 minutes before kickoff after 4 glasses of wine. oops.)
I never bet NFL, but I'm so dissatisfied with my performance yesterday I feel like I need some vindication that cannot wait till next Thursday night
Had Chinese food for lunch yesterday. My fortune said "Good luck will be on your side today." Apparently not. Cheers to better gambling success next weekend yall

I blame myself for not trusting my own picks. I drank the MSB kool-aid on too many picks. Picks I made on my own that I didn't even see mentioned in the threads came up money. LaTech, SDSU, KState, and Oregon State.
And it's funny that when I saw everyone on Miami and Wisc, I thought for sure I would end up losing on those.
My straights ended up above .500 but I put much more on MSB picks than my own ones and ended up WAY down.
