Official countdown to NBA TV's Dream Team Special

T-minus 9 hours until what I hope will be a fantastic documentary on the 1992 Dream Team. I am thoroughly excited about this thing and I hope the documentary does it justice.

I really want to hear the stuff about guys threatening not to play if Zeek was put on the team. From what i heard, everyone hated him. Magic even hated him after the announcement because he thought Isaih was his friend and he basically called him a fig.

I really hope they go into this as well. Jordan was rumored to have said he wasn't playing on the team if Isaih was on it as revenge for Isaih freezing him out during the all star game.

Just think, Chuck Daly was the coach of Team USA, and even he realized how important it was to have MJ on the squad & not Zeke. They would have still won without Michael, but his presence was needed to make this legendary.

ESPN just had a little thing about this yesterday. The writer who had the idea of dream team admitted that Michael made the demand.
And he and Pippen styled on Kukoc cause the Bulls wouldn't give Pippen a big deal trying to save money up for Toni.
