Bigger mismatch than Alabama and Florida?
Have you taken a look at the spreads?

Florida will be the best defense that Bama has faced thus far and I'm not excited putting the ball in Coker's hands should they shut Henry down.

And yeah, I know Florida's offense sucks but anything is possible.

I just think Iowa will get absolutely destroyed.

I just think the way they both play will keep it from being a blowout. Who has MSU blown out this year?

ETA: Penn State is the only team they've embarrassed all year.

Beat WMU 37-24
Beat a shite Oregon team at the time 31-28
Beat AF 35-21
Beat Purdue 24-21
Beat Rutgers 31-24
Beat Michigan 27-23
Lost to Nebraska
Beat OSU 17-14

What makes anybody think this will be a blowout?

Looks like they've set it up for UNC to possibly sneak into the 4 spot with a win over Clemson.

You're probably one of the jokers that said the same thing about Nebraska last week

Uh, no. UNC was placed behind Florida State. That should tell you all you need to know about the view on UNC. If UNC beats Clemson the B1G will have 2 teams in.

If UNC beats Clemson, Clemson or UNC will go before Ohio State gets in.

This. Everyone with an objective view or common sense knows this. But the other side will argue it endlessly, and complain for months once it happens.

I could see UNC jumping to 4, but the committee really hates their non conference schedule.

If anyone is offering this as a side bet, I'm accepting. Iowa will keep it closer than dogshit UF.

Putting them at #10 tells UNC they need to have a dominant win over Clemson, and that probably won't even be enough. Something like Ohio State did to Wisconsin might get UNC in. If they win a close or sloppy game, Ohio State, Stanford, or even Clemson will get in before UNC.

Lulz. Translation, "I haven't really watched either team play all year"

These are two of the most evenly matched teams out there. They both put up about 400 yards and score 33 points. Michigan state has relented slightly more yardage and Iowa gives up three fewer PPg. Theyre tied for the Big Ten lead at +14 TO margin.

They've played four common opponents -- very similar scoring between all of them. Iowa beat all four, MSU was 3-1.

I could be wrong, but I don't see them putting 2 teams from the same conference in. They heavily weight conference champions and UNC would be a conference champion. I think it would be between UNC and Stanford for the 4 spot if Clemson loses.
