I think he was alluding to "squares" (and I hate that term) that just think historically that teams like Georgia are awesome and Missouri sucks, so UGA should blow them out and take UGA -10.5. That's a bad number being taken on no merit.

Also possibly alluding to getting value on the line(s) instead of focusing solely on the teams. (IE: UGA line opens at -9, moves to -13. Take Mizzou +13 for value and avoid an inflated UGA line.)

Just my speculation about his comment. Take it fwiw.

Thinking about locking in my 6 team parlay

Navy vs Duke(-3)
Oregon(-14) vs Washington
Baylor(-17) vs K-State
Oregon St vs Wash St(-1)
Bowling Green vs Miss St(-11)
Stanford(-8) vs Utah

Anyone oppose?

My bank roll opposes 6 team parlays, but long as you're not putting a lot down, they can be fun.

Lotta chalk in it as well.

It means that I don't give a rats arse what name is on the front of the jersey. If I can find value in a line, I play it, if not, I don't. And fwiw, I have Georgia as a 6.5-7.5 point favorite. So at 10+, your damn right im going to play Mizzou.

Navy should be favored. Oregon State might be the most undervalued team in the country. Why lock in a 6 teamer this early? Why not wait?

But do you not take certain things into consideration, like "[Team X] has a terrible coach who is known to shite the bed"?

Well by that argument, we should all jump on Mizzou

Perhaps. The two teams are pretty close.

And that (Team X), Georgia in this case, has had 2 incredibly difficult and draining games in a row and is absolutely decimated by injuries at the moment.

Mizzou should be a good play.

Really wanna get home to do some research on Mizzou. Someone mentioned it earlier, about them not being on TV much if at all. In this case, I think that works in their favor. A team that hasn't been seen much, quietly transitioning into the SEC "where they don't belong", against a big name perennial power who is coming off back to back SEC wins...perfect ingredients for some value.

Anything north of 10 points, and a Mizzou play should garner some attention.

Nah, I hated Urban Meyer. CMR seems like a decent human being, I just don't think he's very good at coaching the game of football.

And a big consideration is that UGA is decimated offensively. They should have Gurley back, which will help, but losing those two receivers hurts.

About Georgia not playing well in Neyland. Coming off the Super Bowl. Tease them below a field goal with LSU and Florida.

Although LSU and Florida easily covered their numbers.
