FROOME BACK IN THE GROUP
Froome has made it back to the group but he doesn't seem at ease ona bike that is not his. Bardet is one kilometre ahead.

Navarro abandons the tour
Someone needs to attack Froome right now

BARDET VIRTUALLY SECOND ON GC
Mollema is struggling. Bardet is virtually second on GC with 7km to go.

Bardet won the stage... now to see time gaps

TOP 5 OVERALL
GC:
1. Chris Froome

3. Nairo Quintana, at 4.27
4. Adam Yates, at 4.36
5. Richie Porte, at 5.17

Fight for second should be good, Quintana will have to attack full out to have a big enough gap for the descent
I backed Rodriquez to finish top 10 at the beginning at +600, my favourite rider on the tour, hoping he can take the 11 seconds from Mollema tomorrow!

I started following Lawson Craddock on Strava yesterday. It's unreal, when you look at these guy's stats for the day. Yesterday he rode 98.6 miles, 11,706 ft of elevation, with an average speed of 18.5 mph, and a max speed of 51.4 mph. His heart rate analysis was outstanding as well. For 57% of the ride, his heart rate was in Z2 (117-155 bpm).

How many stages has Alaphillip been in the breakaway? It seems like every other one.

Nibali going for the win. If not for Alaphillip's couple of accelerations, he'd have joined them already.
And he's in front

Yes he is and he can descend well.
I wish someone would tell Sherwood to stop with his dumb anecdotes and "internal commentary". He has gotten very uninformative this year.

Any of these guys interested in bettering their position in the top ten?

That was a pretty good QB sack by that fan

That was a brilliant descent for the stage win

Only who actually showed improvement in the third week! Looking forward to the Vuelta for him it looks quite Purito friendly
I think if Bardet was within 2 minute she would have attacked today but I understand him defending.
Aru has to be disappointed with his tour, shows he isn't in that elite group yet.
Edit: interesting to see who gets the most combative rider the tour, Pantano or Aliaphilippe
I've read that if the tour started after the first rest day Stef Clement was second on GC before today, finished 3-4 minute down today. Didn't realise he was 33! Was thought he maybe one for the future

Quintanna saying they tried hard is somewhat laughable. Then he claims he had allergies?
I'm not sure they were trying to win, but just a podium finish.

wiki says it's already been awarded...
to Peter Sagan
ETA: and there's confirmation by Jens Voigt with Sagan wearing the special red number
also Tony Martin with a DNF today... got to the Champs-Elysees and couldn't finish it
