Right now the only team I can see Sale going to is the Nats. White Sox want Dansby Swanson but the Braves aren't going to trade him. The Nats will either trade for Sale or McCutchen. I think if the Nationals pass on Sale he will be the talk of the trade deadline.

Someone help me out. I'm reading reports that the Nationals think they have enough pieces to trade for both Sale AND McCutchen? Is this true?

They have enough pieces for both. That said, I don't think it'll happen. Technically Robles and Giolito can headline two separate deals and they have the secondary pieces to make both work without giving up Turner IMO. I'd focus on Sale and if McCutchen happened as well, mad props for them having the nuts to make it happen.

The Nats could if they offered Trae Turner in the Chris Sale trade. The only way they could without Turner is if McCutchen doesn't cost much.

Its possible. Robles is going to be the top piece going for McCutchen. If they can hold off on Lopez in that deal, its likely. Would probably have to look something like this

for McCutchen
Lucas Gioliot, Reynaldo Lopez, Erick Fedde, Pedro Severino, Michael Taylor, Luis Garica
