Ernie Els may win this tournament this year. He's climbing up the leaderboard this morning. Last year after his Saturday round, while signing autographs somebody told Ernie that the Big Easy loves him, and we hope he comes back. Ernie said, "I love it here, I'll definitely be back." I think he was genuine when he said that, because he is one of the only PGA stars that has always come to New Orleans. Go Ernie!!

Rickie played the last 4 holes at +3 to fall about 8 strokes away from the leader.
Guan-tanimo is at -3 for the day and tournament. Many people felt it would be harder for him to make this cut than the Master's cut (longer course, more players entered). He's quite amazing.
