Offensive strategy for short-yardage situations

When you need a yard, I'm a huge fan of the strategy of bunching your entire offense in towards the ball as tightly as humanly possible. This lets the defense know that you absolutely mean business

Running right at the heart of the one defenses in the country is genius.
It's the long con- lining up in such an obviously run-right-at-them play call that you hope the defense overthinks it and plays the pass, and then you run right at them.
