Anyone else amazed at what doesn't get called, even though it happens right in front of the had official??? Mingo got tackled from behind yesterday, Auburn dlineman raped and tackled from behind in the Lacy touchdown, etc etc. How does the white hat miss these. Don't understand it.

do yourself a favor, and watch any other game but that one. Grambling v. Southern is far more entertaining.

Good point. But it's happening in every game now.

You guys act like it doesn't happen in damn near every college game watched anymore.

I'm talking about the ones ever the de completely blows past the ol, and gets tackled from behind. All games that i watch now they miss the most obvious hold/rape. You are stating my point. Why does it happen in every game now and not get called??

holding in general happens almost nearly every play. its like traveling in the NBA. the refs just pick and choose when to call it and they usually do so in critical times in the game.

They honestly just need to get rid of the holding penalty at this point. I know there's a subjective element to practically every penalty, but there is just really no baseline standard by which it is called. How do you teach kids like that? It's crap and it gives the more egregious offenders a marked competitive advantage.

And what's weird is its like the announcers are told not to say a thing about it.

You know they see it and just choose to ignore it.

But I'll play along with your comment even though it's not on topic. So how do teams have 3 or so penalties a game if we all know that holding happens all the time?

You ever watch a full college game that isn't Alabama or LSU? Holding happens all the time. And it rarely gets called because it happens pretty consistently. I saw plenty on both sides of the ball today in the Kentucky vs. Tennessee game. If it was called to the letter consistently the flow of the game would be ridiculous.

So you're just proving my point with your "3 or so penalties" comment.

Not my arrangement/point. But when Mingo or any de has a sack or tfl in the making and gets mauled from behind, I'd say that is a critical time in the game.

But I'll play along with your point. Holding happens all the time but teams...ahem..bama..ahem finish games with one penalty. It's crap. We need better training for these refs if they can't see a dlinemsn being tackled from behind when about to make a play on the ball.

Once again, I know that holding happens in every game. I'm talking about getting raped when going after the ball. And I just threw or the Auburn Bama game. Saw it in Oklahoma game last week. Don't get your point, and don't think you understand mine

Btw, Why would i watch a shitty game like UK Tenn? It may happen in that game too, but no offense you could not pay me to watch that kind of shite show

This was obvious to everyone and the announcers didn't say anything

Sorry that I call it like I see it.

When are you guys ever bitching about this stuff when it's not Alabama?

ETA: And now it's an announcer conspiracy? I thought our basketball fans were bad.

Alabama will not have an Offensive holding call go against it in a game that's determination is in doubt when SEC Refs are officiating. FACT. The sooner we accept this, the better.
