Unfortunately someone has to win. I gave up hoping for the meteor after the NFC Championship game this year.
UNC fans annoyed me more, and my step-dad is a UVA fan. So twice a year, sometimes 3 times, I root for Duke.

It's obviously not as much as I make it out to be, but yea, it's true a good bit of time. Hell one of my friends in Richmond is like that, but is for Duke basketball.
I have many great friends that are VT fans, I just them as fans.
Guess it doesn't help that the first thing I learned when moving to VA was to hate VT

Why is it different to dick ride a pro sports team, and like a specific sports team from a specific school? No one hear is dick riding the school academic program as far as I can see. Sports are sports, why does their have a be a dick riding line that one must not cross?
