UNC is one of the few teams out there that still controls its own destiny, both in the conference and in the playoff picture.

Opened the season with a 4 point road loss to South Carolina, but has now ripped off 8 straight wins. Remaining schedule is

Miami at home

@va tech
@NCSU
Vs Clemson in the ACC championship

Statistically, they have the worst run D in the conference. They also have the best pass D in the conference and 4th best scoring D, to compliment the best scoring offense, 3rd best rushing attack, and best passing attack in the conference.

North Carolina is the team no one is talking about, but everyone should

losing to south carolina should automatically eliminate you from the playoff

I think Oklahoma is the team to talk about, personally.

I would love it if they knock Clemson out.

That South Carolina loss is REALLY bad. Can't imagine they'd get in over a lot of 1-loss teams.

They avoided both FSU and Clemson in the regular season and they lost to South Carolina.

Unless they beat an undefeated Clemson in the ACC Title Game, they shouldn't be in the conversation.

Do you not understand what controlling their own destiny is? The playoff dark horse is completely contingent on that.

Even if UNC wins out, they DON'T control their own destiny.

Seems like you're the one that doesn't understand that.

North-Carolina would be a 1-loss conference champ.

That's what he's saying. Teams like Notre, Stanford and Bama would be teams that get in before UNC.

They will jump over Stanford with the Clemson win IMO if Clemson stays unbeaten.

They would have beat the team that beat Stanford by 30 plus

The good news though, for all of us, is that UNC is going to lose to State, so theres that.
