Ryan was set to undergo heart tests Monday.

When you see what he did in his late 30s and 40s you wonder if he was an early adopter of performance enhancing things.

Nope... He busted his arse in the gym. Started tailoring workouts to meet his needs at that age.

He just took better care of himself than others.

Better watch out. Rangertards will be coming for blood! Don't disgrace the name of their (franchise's) savior!

Nolan Ryan was one of my heroes growing up as an Angels fan. He was the one pitcher seemed like we could always count on for a win. I wish him the speediest of recoveries.

Roids.... Pfft....

People always leave out amphetamines. I am sure greenies were available to him.

Love Nolan Ryan. One sports regret was never watching him pitch when a buddy of mine lived in Arlington. Would have loved to watch him pitch for the Rangers.

Yeah, I've been out of town.

And since some guy was kind enough to steal my TV this weekend, I won't be watching any anytime soon.

Yep. He left my PS3 though and over $2k in dive equipment, so I guess he's not a total a-hole.

Yeah, and an Angeltard should be appreciative of his time spent there, as well.

Sorry to hear that your TV was stolen. I guess it is a positive that he left your PS3 and dive equipment.

Yeah, could be worse. I'm moving in 2 weeks and the apt comes with a 40" flat screen. Works out, I guess.
