frick yes Haynesville would beat Dutchtown at least once in 10 games. They have FAR superior coaching to Dutchtown. Hell they beat WM at WM before.

it's all about depth

the dominant South Plaquemines teams had trouble against even the mediocre 4A and 5A teams they played (they beat the ones that sucked)

this Haynesville team isn't on South Plaq's level from those years

plus 5A football is so far ahead of the other classes except for the outliers

Curtis is not #1 "for sure" this year... they had a great team last year, but Karr and St. Aug are more loaded this year

step away from the keyboard chalmette. you and I both know it takes more than just talent to be the #1 team. and that additional factor, FAR superior coaching, is why Curtis is going to beat Karr and St. Aug by two scores.

Hopefully they can get the spread offense down before Karr comes to town week 1.

FWIW.. wasn't someone at Neville behind getting the ball rolling on ECA and JC playing in class?

No. That was Ruston. Current commish is a former principal at Ruston and Haynesville. ECA and Ruston were in the same district for several years.

neville was very tired of the patriots

Outliers

Haynesville is an outlier. Check the records. Plus like I said, they beat West Monroe at West Monroe. I'd bet my house they could beat Dutchtown 1 out of 10 times.

Was unreal the amount of talent they had.. just think if Randall Mackey had been a part of those teams as well.

if they could, then why don't they try to play the legit 5A teams in North LA? not someone like Natch. Central who is on again and off again?

Those teams are gun shy after they beat WM.

St. paul has 2 good years and now they are top 15 in the state????

what a joke. Cant believe they put them that high when they were a #1 seed and got bounced by a #32 seed 2 years ago

How can teams who never won a state title be near the top of the list? A lot of curious picks. Strange list.

yeah the "E" is not who it used to be... this should be a snapshot of who the top 50 teams in the state are RIGHT NOW, past history disregarded

we should have left

Curtis
Karr
St. Aug
West Monroe
Rummel
University
Acadiana
Barbe
Ouachita?
Parkway?
Bastrop?
Shaw?
Hahnville?
Patterson?
Amite?
St. Charles Catholic?
i'm sure there's others...

I guess it being a New Orleans paper and starting a freshman at QB is why they are so low.

E would beat 95% of these teams on a regular basis.....and I see E as the only team above Neville that would give them a problem
