NL Wild Card Game Between Giants-Mets Highest Rated MLB Game On ESPN In 13 Years

The game was the highest-rated Wild Card game, ever , pulling a record 5.8 overnight rating on Walt Disney-owned ESPN. That eclipses the previous high of 5.7 set by both the American League and National League Wild Card Games in 2015.
That 5.8 rating was the highest-rated MLB game for ESPN dating back 13 years to 2003.
The game peaked with a solid 7.1 overnight rating from 11-11:15 p.m. ET.
