Rumor has it NJIT, who beat Michigan, will join the Atlantic Sun conference. Isn't all Deep or Mid South schools? What happened to Anerica East or MAAC? Highlanders.

What do all those letters mean?

How can a school be deep?

Where is Anerica East?

The MAAC is all private, mostly Catholic. America East would have been a better fit though.

Good for them... They've come a long way the last few years.

America east makes sense. Rider and Monmouth not parochial. Northeast conference too

Yes, but the MAAC already has a presence in New Jersey with Rider, Monmouth, and Saint Peter's. Plus the NYC Metro area with Iona and Manhattan. NJIT really offers them nothing.

Ok. I know nothing of the school other than the fact they beat Michigan. I guess it is a good move that they made it into a conference.

Great academically. My daughter and son in law went there. Son in law in grad school there now.
