LSU is the flagship school in the state. How about having state pride? A majority of the players come out this state. Better cheering for your state than another one.

Joe Montana was the devil destroying Saints fans dreams in the late 80's. Tulane has the devil's son as the starting QB... you think Tulane fans give a shite about state pride if the Son of the Devil leads them out of the bowels of mediocrity???

Nah, I'll stick with cheering for anyone before I pull for Lsu.

Good move by them, especially if he's the real deal. I have zero interest in Tulane football, but will keep up with them throughout the season just to see how Ole Joe's boy is doing.

Wish that stadium would be built by the time the Cajuns return the visit.

So what you are ignorantly trying to say is children under the age of 18 can't have pride in the team their family has watched since they were born? Or, say, a kid growing up 15 minutes from LSU stadium and then joining the military and having said school be a way of showing home state pride?

Good God you people are retarded.

They are building at a crazy pace. When does ULL come? If next season, you're in luck.

Joe is trying to make amends. He gave us his son so that his sins can be forgiven.

It's so funny how Tulane fans simply don't get it.

At least those fans actually attend(ed) the university. Death Valley 90,000 fans, 70,000 of whom did not go to the school.

I guess Rudy wasnt a true Notre Dame fan until he was formally accepted as a student.

Fudge has been plagued with injuries thus far at Tulane. Probably going to be a WR when healthy though and his pops posts on 1 of the Tulane boards as well. Seems like a good family.

gotcha... i think he had a brother that was a WR at Tulane (how he ultimately ended up there)... sucks on the injuries. he had some legit interest from BCS schools, although he committed pretty early to TU (IIRC).

New Orleans Superdome. Holds 70,000, 69,000 of which never played a down for the New Orleans saints or worked for them

Nice comparison bro...

If you don't think LSU football is a business as well, then your blind as a bat.

Yea Wilson Van Hooser played WR at Tulane for the past few years. He's a graduate transfer at Troy now, I think he won a starting spot. Moved closer to home because his mom is sick.
