What guy on the list is he talking about then?

Jason Campbell doesn't deserve to be mentioned with those players. What has he ever accomplished at the NFL level?

He's just one of the better NFL players to have come out in the past few years. I played against him in HS fwiw and he was bad arse in HS. He was a parade all American.
In the NFL he was a first round draft pick, and has been a NFL starter for the past few years. and was the NFC player of the week once if that counts HAHA
He still has time to make a name for himself.

This isn't about NFL accomplishments.
It's about miss high school football and his examples were of great high school players from MS.
Jason Campbell was one of them

That was a list of people who had distinguished themselves in the NFL -- except Jason Campbell

Maybe I should add Tig Barksdale and Marcus Dupree to the list b/c those two guys are two of the best HS players to EVER come though the Mississippi HS ranks. Barksdale just got kicked off Ole Miss, and Dupree only played a short time in the NFL and didnt accomplish anything.

Where did he say that was a list of guys who distinguished themselves in the NFL?
All but one had distinguished himself in the NFL.
All were great high school players in ms.
So on first glance, I'd say it's even silly to assume what you are suggesting the list is about
You are just making assumptions

And if you had done that, your intent would have been clearer. You listed a bunch of very good to great NFL players -- and Jason Campbell.

No, he listed a bunch of great MS high school players. With no exceptions

As a guy who grew up in Arkansas right across the river I don't have any fondness for MS in general but I bet if you looked at it on a players produced per population basis MS is probably in the top 10 or very near it in terms of D1 players and NFL players produced per million residents. LA is probably near #1 on that list so saying MS isn't as good as LA in that regard in no way proves that MS is a slouch. It is also a very poor state so I would kind of look at them funny if they had a whole bunch of "Cadillac" high school football stadiums. I would hope the rich folks there would donate some money so more of their kids can read and do math before they make sure they have big TV scoreboards.

Petal is a shite hole. This stadium is the only redeeming quality within 15 square miles.

Moss Point has had a video board for a few years already.

Thats the first I have heard about that. I find that very surprising considering that Moss Point is one of the poorest schools on the coast and there are schools like Biloxi, Gulfport, and Ocean Springs that dont have video boards.
Im going to have to check into this. Not saying I dont believe you, but considering what I know about Moss Point it is doubtful that they have a video board that actually has replays on it.

I don't think it can show replays, but it is a video board, or at least was. Katrina may have taken it out. I officiated football there for years, but retired before Katrina.

BS. Madison Central and Meridian are damn good programs for starters.
