Probably won't kill the entire season, but it's very possible that we may not have hockey until the 2013 part of the 12-13 season. Did they not learn anything from the last one? The first one devastated the sport's fan base and the NHL brand, this one would make things worse.

Sorry if Germans, I searched

I used to care somewhat before the first one if the Stars made the playoffs, but now I just treat it like the WNBA: It's not really a sport to me anymore.

If they can't learn their lesson from the first one that happened recently, then they are going to be a lost cause real soon

See I still care, it's probably my 4th favorite sport (behind CFB, NFL and CBB). I love watching when I can, but you are right, if they can't figure this out then they aren't even worth dealing with anymore.

The league wasn't devastated after the first one. They were able to reorganize and had record breaking revenues post lockout. The real problem for the NHL is if they let it happen again, no one will respond well if they make a habit of having lockouts.

So you're saying I picked the wrong season to start watching hockey.

The players have agreed to keep playing even if a new agreement isn't made before the season starts.

As much as I like to watch Hockey, I really wouldn't miss the NHL if they locked out again. I didn't the first time.

Hockey has quickly become my favorite sport. I would hate it if they didn't play.

If you would read some of the replies on here, you'd find your answer.

I started watching a little bit of hockey last season. I know the basic rules and star players, but I don't have a favorite team or anything. Not having the NHL would be earth-shattering for the North and all of Canada.

And you sound very stupid and suck at reading comprehension. So congrats on being a dumbass

Did you not read that line or just chose to ignore it?

It will probably also cause the Stars to relocate to Seattle (which is Gagliardi's plan anyway).
