NFL Teams on the Rise for Future

Always interesting to see which teams seem to be on the rise each year. Sometimes its because of a new coach, new players, etc. Other times its a fluke and they cant seem to get over the hump in the future or have peaked.
Teams on the rise:
- Miami - Legit D, Tannehill seems like hes starting to figure it out... but the team goes where he goes. They do need a workhorse type of RB and another WR to go along with Jarvis Landry, Mike Wallace, and Charles Clay... specifically a big bodied WR thats a red zone threat.
- Buffalo - Stacked D. Seems like they finally found their coach in Marrone. QB is the big question mark though. Do they still think Manuel is the future at QB? Do they get a QB in the draft? But still have been a very competitive team this year despite being average at best at the QB spot.
- St. Louis - That D is big, fast, and mean. And extremely young and have depth. Their oldest starter on D is 29years old, Chris Long and Jo-Lonn Dunbar. Average age of their starters on D is 25. Their OL has improved, found a good young RB in Mason, and have some decent young WRs in Brian Quick, Stedman Bailey, and still have explosive Tavon Austin. The QB spot is the question. Sounds like Bradford will restructure his deal and will be back in St Louis for 1 more season because he knows he wont get a chance to start anywhere else. If he can be just a solid NFL QB, they would be a scary team.
- Minnesota Vikings - Finally have their coach. D is really good and Bridgewater has been impressive the last few weeks and looks like he can be a very solid NFL QB. They have some young guys with bright futures in the NFL. And I really like Jerick McKinnon
- Jacksonville Jags - At the bottom, only place to go is up. I do like their coach a lot and think he can get this team headed in the right direction. They had a solid D and were very competitive in a lot of games this year and have a lot of young players on O in Bortles, Lee, Denard Robinson, Storm Johnson, Allen Hurns, and Allen Robinson. Just need to keeping piecing it together bit by bit.
I also think the New York Giants are a much better team than they showed this year. They were decimated with injuries and it took a while for the offense to come together and for OBJ to get on the field. But the roster has talent, especially on D with Cullen Jenkins, Hankins, JPP, McClain, DRC, Antrell Rolle, Stevie Brown, Demps, Prince, and Hosley. Most of those guys missed a lot of the season due to injury. And if they can improve on the OL, they will be back in the thick of things.
Who else you got?

I'll throw out the Raiders if they get Harbaugh, with Carr and Mack to build around.

Both the Lions and Cowboys already made their rise IMO... both have already locked up a playoff spot.

Giants will be above .500 next year. Not a tough schedule and the offense should be pretty good.

Going forward it all depends on Suh returning.

but will there be a super bowl in the near future for them?
watch out for Detroit... their coach, say what you want, has been there. they have one of the best D's, their QB is almost elite, and they have Megatron and no one else does

They better hurry up with Megatron.
He's gonna decline here pretty soon.

St. Louis should make a good run next year with what should be a soft out of division schedule for finishing 4th place if they can find a qb.
Buffalo and Miami are both legit, Buffalo needs a good qb and they will be a playoff team. Miami could use a stud rb.
Minnesota may need 2 more years to be a playoff team but they have some nice young pieces.
Oakland could be interesting if Carr and Murray progress well during the off season and they add a legit wide receiver.

Dallas, Miami, Buffalo, Minnesota, and Detroit.

Jags need to put together an o-line that won't get Bortles killed. Once done, I think the interception problem will take care of itself. Need some guys like Cyprien to pan out on D but, there are things to be excited about.

Texans are really a QB away from being dangerous IMO. Team was much improved with O'Brien this year.
Yeah they have some holes at other spots, specifically the defense. But with better QB play they could beat just about any team I think.

Giants have a nice offensive nucleus for another run

it is the same story almost every year with STL. I think they'll be about the same next year. They don't really have any play makers on offense.
besides the occasional nice run from Tre Mason or a phantom appearance from Kenny Britt or Stedman Bailey.. forget about it.
Buffalo and Miami are almost just alike in my opinion. As long as the Patriots keep doing what they are doing, they'll most likely get left out of the playoffs.
Jacksonville needs a lot of help on its O-line.
Minnesota might have something. Wonder what would have been had Adrian Peterson hadn't had that bizarre incident. They need some help at WR too.
